Introduction to Object-Oriented Programming
Object Oriented Programming Training for Beginners
In this course, students are exposed to the concepts, fundamental syntax, and the thought processes behind true object-oriented programming. Completion of this course gives students the tools and basic knowledge they need to learn more specific object-oriented programming techniques in languages such as Java, C++, C#, and VB.NET.
Upon completion of the course, students will earn 6 CEUs (Continuing Education Units) and a CEU letter from the University of Illinois Office of Continuing Education.
From beginning to end, participants will learn by doing their own Java applet-based projects. These projects, as well as the final project, will add to the student's portfolio and provide needed experience. Besides a browser and internet connection, all software is provided online by the O'Reilly School of Technology.
