Institution Mission Statement:

At O’Reilly School of Technology, our passion is Learning by Making. O’Reilly School of Technology fosters exploration, learning, and achievement in an environment where students and instructors are partners in discovery. O’Reilly School of Technology provides distance education where theory is put into practice, and students become accomplished builders of technology.

Description of Institution:

The O’Reilly School of Technology (OST) offers a diverse array of online courses and Certificates of Professional Development. O’Reilly School of Technology helps students gain the knowledge and skills they need to begin IT careers or propel their existing careers further. Our students work on their own time, at their own pace, with dedicated instructor assistance and feedback.

Student Demographic Profile:

Students generally range between age 25-55, 80% male, 20% female. 88% have attained at least some college, with 69% having achieved at least a bachelor’s degree.

Admission Requirements and Procedures:

The O’Reilly School of Technology offers professional development certificate programs designed to meet the needs of adult learners. Meeting the admission requirements is an indicator that a learner is qualified to enter and complete the certificate program. However, O’Reilly School of Technology emphasizes that success in completing program requirements is dependent on a learner’s commitment to the educational process.

O’Reilly School of Technology does not accept semester, experiential, or other credits in transfer toward certificate programs for coursework completed at other postsecondary institutions.
